Regardless of Brinkers past performance, I believe the bulk of what he says about the market...to the extent he will talk about it. For me, it's most useful to try to get a handle on the time range that he has visibility.

Based on his recent performance, I'd have to peg his visibility in the one to two year time frame. Anything less than 12 months his performance is no better than average and I begin to trust my own judgement more. Beyond two years, there is not much correlation to events today so only a crystal ball would work well.

It's in that 1-2 year window that I think Brinker can provide the most useful input as a market timer. In that window the cyclical rallies may take place and he can earn redemption.
