That last line on a 45-year-old car struck me as amusing. A young lady was driving it in 90-degree heat with the windows rolled down, in the literal sense of rolled down. Not many '57s with A/C and power windows, as I remember, but it had to be the only car in today's rush-hour traffic whose make and year was so readily identifiable.
