The J.P. Morgan opinion of zero wireless industry growth through 2006 has flummoxed me because of its extreme pessimism. Of course, five year forecasts usually aren't worth a hill of beans in technology. Are you aware of any credible analyst or analytic institution, aside from Nokia and some of the other companies within the industry itself, that analyzes the wireless industry and is actually optimistic about its potential? I haven't considered it a more or less dead industry but am wondering if I've got it all wrong. Wireless had essentially grown continuously for its entire commercial life for about two decades until last year; and I'm having a real hard time accepting that it's over, as J.P. Morgan asserts and others have begun to overtly or by implication as well. Gosh, I don't know what to think.
