Bezos sells Amazon shares for $15.5 million
Amazon.com Inc. founder and CEO Jeff Bezos last month sold 950,000 shares in the world's biggest Internet retailer for $15.5 million as part of his program to sell stock at regular intervals.

Bezos sold the shares at prices ranging from $16.06 to $16.73 a share, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The sales took place between May 1 and May 7.

Bezos sold 2.95 million Amazon.com shares in February.

Bezos owned 111.8 million of the company's 375.1 million shares outstanding in early April, according to Amazon.com's proxy material, which also shows Bezos hadn't received a pay increase, bonuses or stock options in three years. During that time, his annual salary was only $81,840.
