You need to reread the GAO report. The White House wasn't trashed at all. Even the equipment replaced was done so at inflated prices and still didn't amount to much. Boy genius Bush bought some new keyboards for $75 each even though any other fool can buy them for $15 and Office Max offered to donate them for free. This was strictly an effort to try and make it look like they had to spend taxpayer money to make the White House work, but like the rest of Bush's federal expenditures, it was money down the drain.
