It only frightened me the littlest bit, for some reason. Enough to make me remove my email address/name from my profile page, not enough to report him (though the guy to whom he'd written that did) to SI. I felt sorry for him, as I recall, and was sure it was just a desperate threat. In his culture, he said, the casual use of one's name was a dishonor to one's family. He had a lot of money, and got a battery of lawyers to sue SI to lift his termination, but he was never allowed to return. It was different in the days when SI had TOU.
