No, he will not take back his comments based on Itanium performance. All his arguments right now are centered around software support, and the requirement to have "1 million applications", or at least "a lot" ported over to the new architecture before it can be successful. Since Constantine cannot at least define a metric for success in a response here, I can only assume that he has himself so convinced that the product will fail, that he has left no room for the possibility of success. It's a waste of time arguing against such fixated logic.
