I'm relocating my home-office and will be spending 2 weeks in a hotel that features high speed internet through wayport.com. I have 3 networked PCs, and techs at Wayport got nasty when I asked how to share the connection among PCs. To use their system, you connect direct through the NIC and it uses NAT to give you access. They record the machine ID on the NIC for billing.

Is there a way to route their connect through a gateway/switch/router that will make them think only one machine is accessing it? I'm using a simple D-Link 5 port switch right now. My net access (right now) is still dial up on one machine with Wingate doing the ICS. If a gateway wont fool the system, can my PC handle two NICs at once?? I'd use one to get the incoming Net and the second to connect to the other PCs through Wingate. Wayport would only see one machine??

BTW I checked the Acceptable Use and this is all legal. Their techies just wont support my efforts.

Alan
