Hypocracy of some Muslims is pretty boundless too.
I heard tonight some Dr. Muslim going around the country defending the Koran, semantically saying "jihad" really was a good thing, don't misinterpret, etc etc.
I called in to the show and asked, "how do you tell a good Muslim from a bad Muslim, you know the ones that vow to kill me and my family? I don't trust any of you, because at a Muslim rally in this city last week where a reporter asked attendees if they would refuse to support suicide bombing, NONE OF THEM WOULD." The good Dr. blathered on about symantics. Being a hothead Libertarian, I had to suggest we need for them to all go to their part of the world and work out their Koran interpretations and suicide bombings among themselves, and leave us in our part of the world until they prove themselves peaceful. Violent Christians are subdued by hue and cry from peaceful Christians, immediately. As a result I do not feel concerned about violent Christians. Until Muslims likewise prove themselves peaceful I am concerned about violent Muslims.
This is the kind of holy war being fomented on all sides by those who benefit. The warlords and war profiteers are on the same side, and we targeted citizens are on the other side. That is why we will have no safety until we take matters into our own hands, like Flight 93, and like Ms. Fitts. Those in power profit from warfare, only we citizens profit from peaceful resolution of conflict.
It's time for citizen leadership, like Fitts did for accounting, to emerge to set up neighborhood block captains and watch groups throughout the country, and to hell with the rapacious incompetent government. |
