o/t: Ron are you saying the following post of yours was NOT directed (largely, if not entirely) at me?

continued great posts and thoughts on the market in the end it is the market that determines who is right

as to our little portfolio exercise the market says a huge % of the trades were wrong

over time they may all work out, but the reality of the market makes it clear that many of the entries were timed wrong

and clearly there still the reality that some people here just can not admit a mistake, clear the stock out, and move forward. I'm not talking about "good real companies" but rather the longs in the portfolio that will sit there taking up cash for a very long time on a hope and a prayer

Anyway, I got tired of sniping from various people on this thread who obviously think they know better than me, and maybe they do, but let the likely whipsaw on my sells be on their conscience and not mine.

Ron, even if you thought your post was not being personal because it didn't mention my name, be assured it hurt just as much as if you had. Despite that, I like you and respect you, and am not trying to start any kind of feud. Maybe I could and should have put a "<gg>" after my zgift to Ron post, although at the time, I wasn't laughing. No hard feelings.

By the way, if you (or anyone else on Z thread) think I should sell the Z's AOL and CPN positions as well because of not being "good real companies", or for whatever other reason, don't hesitate to give me the benefit of your advanced insight! <g> ;-)
