Texas Senator Race Tightens washingtonpost.com This Congressional Quarterly article is quite strange in its bias. "But Kirk is clearly running a strong campaign. A poll conducted by the independent polling firm Montgomery & Associates in May showed Cornyn with support from 46 percent of the sample, while Kirk had 44 percent." While Cornyn's lead has been diminishing lately, the author somehow says that he's got a commanding 2% lead. Impressive, isn't it? <g> Looks like the Bushman will be spending a lot of time in Texas this fall......covering his backside. -Ray
