That's what happens with warming. As the earth warms by a single degree, trees have to move northwards by 50 miles. Otherwise they cannot survive the temperature or the pests that come with the increased temperatures. These dying trees begin to decay and contribute to CO2 emissions instead of playing their beneficial role of absorbing CO2.

The increased temperatures will bring other types of vegetation. But the original trees will die and decay - causing a massive increase in greenhouse gases.
