Question: Do you know much it costs to buy a seat and become a member on the NYSE and what the role of the specialist is? Now who am I to believe? The NYSE members and the specialists who are on the biggest accumulation binge in the history of the exchange AND INVEST REAL MONEY as the bagholders sell in droves? Or am I going to believe wizard cyberboy Steve Lee with his mock rarefied air trades but please don't call me Al... I mean Hal? And by the way, The figures I gave on MITA for 1973 and 1974 on how much the public shorted above the specialists... LMAZZOFF I was waiting for someone to challenge me on the incorrect data I gave out. It ain't even close. The reality is... the public shorting above the specialists in 73/74 in the worst bear market since the depression is so inconsequential to what is going on in record capacity today that IF you really knew you would be doing what the smart money is doing NOW. And that is buying the right stocks/leaps at clearance sale prices. Yes. I am hungry like the wolf. You know what PHD really stands for don't you? Piled High & Deep. Best Regards, J.T.
