Bear, "Getting already public info sure can;t be a crime..." Sure, it can. If it is official FBI policy not to divulge such information from their own files without permission or authority, then the FBI agents are culpable. Couple that with the alleged 'bribe' and you have a very good case against the agents and the party that compromised them.
