The short told us a lot of other crap. Listening closely to Worldcom management show the shorts full of crap.

We will have dog and pony shows, good earnings, and funding very soon. Yes indeed, there was a lot of good news. I look to doubling up next week.


I may be wrong but I suspect the short interest in WCOM has dropped in the past few weeks. Besides, if the shorts had listened to the CC and decided that their position was full of crap, they would have covered and the stock would have experienced a bump up.

Instead, I think people bought ahead of the meeting, hoping for an announcement that would cause a spike in the stock. When that didn't happen, they sold off ahead of the weekend. Having said that, I agree with you the meeting content was positive.
