Hi augieboo, don't worry, I'm very aware of the de-coupling of the markets and the underlying economy. Remember -- the mania/bubble hit its crescendo while the fed was almost through RAISING rates. How messed up was that ? I bailed when the Fed STARTED raising rates, lol. Here's a post I made in APRIL 2000 !! It was not the only one I made like that either. Message 13476375 VERY FEW PEOPLE made "Its all over" posts so soon after the bubble burst. My only mistake has been to grossly underestimate the sheer stupidity of the investing public. They should have all figured it out and bailed within 9 months. Regards, Chris
