Oh, no doubt Demos were complicit.
The point of the post was in response to some kind of "It's the Dem's fault!" illogic.
The point is: it ain't a Repub/Demo problem, it's secrecy versus daylight on our political process, which is corrupted to the point of having mostly ineffectuals and sycophantic idiots being herded around by lobbyists.
Actual, real true public servants, with brains, need to run and somehow get into office, past the gauntlet of special corporate interest media obstacles.
We have millions of good willing people with the character and ability in this country, they just don't stand a chance, at the moment.
So, we get easy-to-manipulate dummies, or the brilliantly corrupt. The higher the office, the dumber they get, apparently. |
