USA 2 x 0 Mexico Only rotten fish tacos stink worse than the way Mexico played today. They deserved to get this result. Period. The only possible chance they could have had was that hand by either O'Brian or Mc Bride in front of the goal in the second half (around the 10th. minute). That should have been a penalty but both the reff and the linesman were not looking. From that point on... the Mexican team became disorganized, and played like desperados. The USA played well, scoring in counterattacks and early, and they simply were readier and more awake, they erased the Mexicans from the field. Simply the better team today.... Towards the end, the game became pathetic with a million fouls that frankly the reff was not able to control. If the USA plays like this against the Germans, it will be fantastic ! Mexico's coach, Aguirre, made a mistake putting Herández in. Poor Luis is over the hill and even his theatrics were like looking at a senile diver in slow motion... This team became unraveled quite quickly... Strange... Catenaccio, today was used by the USA quite effectively, the goals btw where beautiful. On to the quarter finals.... I hope the USA makes bratwurst mit kartofel out of the Germans.
