A major consumer products company (not P&G) is interested in purchasing, distributing and marketing the toothbrush sanitizer and sponge sanitizer with a couple of changes. The Otres deal is not dead, but there is more than one way to skin a cat. Cyclopss owns the ozone technology and knows how to make the necessary design changes.
The major consumer products company is also interested in having Cyclopss develop a couple other consumer products and has indicated they will fund the effort. The question is when and how much? Once again Cyclopss is out of cash, which is nothing new to us old timers, but is still cause for concern. So it is very important that the indicated funding come through in a timely manner. There are reasons to believe it will come through this week, but no guarantees.
On another front; it was hoped that after spending months and probably millions on testing, P&G would move forward with a marketing plan for the ozone laundry system. P&G determined that Cyclopss' ozone laundry system was far superior to several other systems they tested. They also determined the Cyclopss system could save water, energy, chemicals, time, labor, etc.. Not to mention reduce fabric ware and decrease pollution.
However, they also managed to convinced themselves that ozone could not get clothes cleaner and whiter than using lots of Tide and Clorox, so what good is it? (arrrghhh!!!) It reminds me of IBM thinking what good are PC's when you've got mainframes.
Anyway, P&G doing nothing with ozone laundry has not hurt Cyclopss, but it hasn't helped either.
