I hope that this does not repeat this year..." EXACTLY. Only It wasn't all summer long. More like mid-summer when it became evident that Palomino was going to be a fall no show. Little back to school and Christmas. Intel stuffed the shelves with high Mhz P4s while AMD was struggling trying to establish a new chip and worse yet a PR rating that was 6 months late. At least now they have the .13u t-bred in production but it's yet to be seen if they can get sufficient volume going into the end of the summer using the quasi-fab of UMC. Would be sad if AMD missed the back to school and Christmas seasons AGAIN. Jim
