Yes, keep in mind that, given fixed costs and current market demand, Intel needs about $150 per chip, on average, while AMD needs about $70.

It's too bad they haven't anything better to do with their new $2 to $3 billion each FABs except make $75 Celerons. As long as half their sales are $225 P4s, they'll do fine ( so far, so good). If the market becomes tired of $225 chips in $800 boxes, they've got a problem.

They just have to make sure they don't make those Celerons too appealing.
