We're not prepared for that yet but we are getting there. Chances are there will be more of a reduction than a cut off. The oil would find its way to our market anyway unless we implemented a boycott. Then Europe would pick up the slack. A reduction in purchases would put the squeeze on the Saudi regime and accomplish the same idea without toppling the "seven". The increased exploration and funding in Russian oil is our ticket out of the middle east's control of the market and drilling in Alaska would also offer another relief valve.
