Give yourself a little more credit. Even though you're not in the real-time industry, you got it right and the person in the industry got it wrong. Check out Jerry Fiddler's earlier post discussing an EE Times survey on the subject at techstocks.com The leader by far is still "in-house proprietary"... and VxWorks follows and next is pSOS.... Most importantly, perhaps, "in-house proprietary" is shrinking quickly. I purposefully omitted the link to Jerry Fiddler's earlier post because I wanted to see who knows what he's talking about and who is just blowing smoke. You passed the test and "mac" failed. I can see why he or she is afraid to use his or her real name! Surprisingly, our most prolific contributor didn't take the bait.
