Speaking of hail storms, I was in Milwaukee over the weekend at a festival on the lakefront. They have several stages there, some covered, others not, and one of those aerial trams where you can slowly ride back and forth above the festival park in tram cars. The tram cars are more like bench versions of chair lifts at a ski resort....they are open to the elements and maybe 30 or 40 feet above the ground.

At around 5 pm there was an announcement of an approaching thunderstorm with lots of lightning and hail. The skies darkened, and for about three minutes a ferocious hailstorm ensued. I looked up, and a few poor bastards were up on this aerial tram ride, arms over their faces, getting blasted by high velocity hail.

If it hadn't been so stormy I would have run over to the exit and started handing out my cards. They should never have let the thing run in that weather.
