Actually, Gilder is still correct on the demand/price paradigm. The cost of data transfer will continue to drop. If there's one thing people do, it's process a LOT of data - that's what our brains [mostly] do. It defines us! Rabbits don't do so much of it. They specialize in our other favoured activities [eating and breeding]. Meanwhile, we are building It and It's demand for bandwidth will be vast. Note correct use of apostrophe in It's.

GG thought it would all happen much more quickly than it's doing. That's curtains for investments.

Get Cricket, get expensive netilepsy. Get Cat's Eyes pricing and get yammering really cheaply with no netilepsy.

Al, I'm not going to suggest efficient pricing to AWE. I want them to go broke. The CDMA crew is messing up the marketing badly enough without giving CDMA competitors sticks to beat us with. Globalstar has gone broke [even without competitors beating them]. They totally mismanaged their marketing. What a shame. They would now be super-rich if they'd included Cat's Eyes pricing. The next constellation would be nearly ready for launch.

I earn my living by selling CDMA ASICs [QUALCOMM does it on my behalf]. I need CDMA marketers to do things correctly. It's no good if they suffer netilepsy and charge subscribers too much, then drop calls as well.
