Ish, you've been watching too much TV. A few liberals in New England made a point of trying to scare their kids, with little effectiveness. No one else even tried. If there were more than a dozen kids nationwide who were bamboozled into being freightened by this crap between 1952 and 1989, I'd be surprised. A number of those kids eventually went to college, found out it was fashionable to have been scared, and now swear to it. That's how the left teaches fraud to the nation's mush-minds. The left needs its false legends. What was scary was the drivel emanating from Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1964. He got 60+ percent of the vote, and by 1966, you couldn't find a single adult anywhere who would own up to having voted for him. No doubt he scared more than a few kids...
