pulse: gold = #317.30 (lower afthrs), dollar = 110.80 (???)

once again a hefty US stock rally but not for dollar
dollar today:
high of 111.1
low of 110.75
close near the low

gold was inside a $2 range all day, unusually tight

if this is a stock rally, it is pretty feckin pathetic
I translate this as a domestic US short cover rally
