No, actually, my Nanny was amazing. She lived across town and came to baby sit us, make applesauce and pies, knitted all our hats and sweaters, ironed all of our clothes, etc. She was a gem. My Mom was sweet, kind but very spoiled. And my Nanny came to live with us when she got sick and died within a week at 75...( but it was 1964 so that was a long, rich life.) I want to be like my Nanny...and have my grandkids love me as I did her!
