Hey, a 'consumption tax' isn't so bad when measured against the alternatives.

There are no loopholes for the Plutocracy... when they buy a yacht; they pay the same tax rate as Joe Shmoe buying a 6-pack. no special write-offs for 'oil depletion allowances' and such special interest nonsense.

And, a consumption tax doesn't imperil capital formation.

... It would also be less regressive than the system we labor under now, contrary to popular opinion.
