Ray: Thanks for the clarification. But, the war department bandwith will probably never see the light of Commercial Day. As you pointed out. Which makes these MSS spectrum blocks even more valuable if terrestrial applications are approved. But, 25 Mhz Nationwide is not chump change. Even back in 1994. Companies like Sprint paid over 4 Billion Dollars for near nationwide 20 Mhz spectrum blocks in the A and B Block auctions. Sure, the MSS spectrum is not in the PCS Bands, but advances in technology, like ZIF, will allow the production of "one off" subscriber equipment to enjoy the economics of scale provided to user terminals in the standard PCS/Cellular bands.
