Mark:

I have taken the time to review the majority of your recent posts. Almost all of them appear to be sarcastic, critical comments about Zeev. In fact, I note very few, if any posts, where you have contributed constructive or useful content relating to the market, specific stocks, trading strategies, fundamental research, related press articles, etc. Perhaps I have merely overlooked it, but is there a thread where you put your reputation on the line daily or post your market views, together with your reasons for same? If you don't do this, I don't blame you as I don't have the courage nor the confidence to so do myself. That said, should one be so critical of someone who can and does do this (and does so primarily to assist others)?

I am not a market participant who is enamoured with technical analysis,.... in fact I rely almost exclusively on fundamentals. And truth be told, I am of the view that most technical analysis relates to trends and for me, "trends last until they don't". But that being said, I still find it very valuable to drop in here to catch the variety of views that are posted on this thread and to catch the technical perspectives that back them. Many times, catching those perspectives have cut losses or created profits.

Zeev has encouraged an open, and remarkably tolerant thread. He puts up his ideas and views as well as his actual trades (whether they are winners or not). He provides reasons for his views but is not dogmatic about them. And on the whole, he refrains from lashing out or being short-tempered when faced with questions he answered three posts ago or with folk who ask him whether a trade should be made now or a few minutes hence (which would drive most of us insane).

If I have missed something, by all means, enlighten me, but your perspective seems to be rather one-sided.

Best, Earlie
