Warpfactor, as a rule, I am against moderated thread, and while Steve is the originator of this thread, and I believe he has the power to ban posters, I also believe that he has never used this power, and would rather accept the presence of Mark Johnson, then have a self imposed cyber police block opposing opinions. I simply have Johnson on Ignore, and am completely oblivious to his ranting. I get some idea from responses to him of what is going on, but I have tried to reason with him long time ago, and I found to my great surprise that even my patience has bounds (g). I consider it Johnson's constitutional right to write whatever his heart desires, it is also my constitutional right not to read his rant.
We voluntarily try to avoid discussions of politics, since post the 9/11 catastrophe the thread many of us were posting on deteriorated to name calling and aggressive humiliations of opponents, I did not want to put up with that, nor be a part of it, and migrated to this "Non Politics" thread.
I hope that explains why Steve has not banned Mark Johnson or any other poster that happen to disagree vehemently with some opinions posted here.
