Mark:

I have long campaigned for allowing everybody the opportunity to provide their views on a thread, as moderating tends to shape a thread's content. The fact that your constant criticism hasn't had you tossed, speaks volumes about the tolerance found here.

Occasional criticism is healthy, but a continuous stream of it says much more about the provider than about the target.
Frankly, a review of your posts suggests that you have posted little else. Think about that for a moment and what it says about you.

Your response to my query is disappointing. I asked if you post your market comments elsewhere. No reply to that, which suggests that I haven't missed market-related comments that you might have posted. Is this an accurate observation? If it is, again, it says much about you.

"Zeev is arrogant and it is a lot of fun to highlight.....etc". That is quite a statement. No "in my opinions" anywhere in sight, so you post the "arrogance" as fact. I wonder how many others would agree with that? I don't, just for starters. And the "fun" comment...... man, again, you may want to review what this says about you.

"Zeev hates when people remind him....." Again, quite a statement. You might want to add IMHO from time to time with observations such as this one.

I have no quarrel with any who post well-founded criticism of the forecasts of others, especially when accomplished through the provision of counter argument, or alternative perspective BEFORE an event transpires, not through caustic reviews of forecasts in the light of transpired events. The former requires courage and intelligence, the latter merely requires the ability to read and write.

"I love your comment..... "take a load off". Presumably this should be interpreted to mean that I shouldn't be so "critical" of your posts? Quite ironic that you should say that, given the circumstances that motivated my posting to you, wouldn't you say?

Allow me a single suggestion. You will be much more effective as a critic if you post some forecasts of your own (together with supporting arguments and facts). When these forecasts prove accurate, your credibility will be enhanced significantly. I look forward to seeing them.

Best, Earlie
