I've seen that IBM, HP, and Dell all make models of laptops with built-in wireless 802.11b capabilities. Other manufacturers may as well. The advantage is that you don't have to worry about that wireless PCMCIA card sticking out of the port. Also, the IBM and Dell sites claim that the wireless antennas are run on either side of the laptop screen, thus located higher while in use and getting better signal reception.

I don't know about the reception, but it will be nice not to have to worry about a card while traveling. Increased functionality with fewer parts is good.
