dear John... this is why we saw our guardman at airport etc. without loaded weapons...(pa.) and other states.. I remember one evening back in 60's during high potential riots , and northeast lost power.... We were going to recon in the 3/4 ton truck five of us and a lt. ...Of course no amo.. just take a patrol thru the area... You got to be out out your mind!! The power was restored to New England and we were all released from duty... I still cannot imagine what nut thought up the idea of going out to patrol the streets without some type of back up. They were also starting to deploy various guards to the shopping malls for security... Again no weapons.. ha
