Golf Names Alleged Stock Manipulators; Federal Racketeering Charges Target Defendants In Florida, Georgia

SPRINGDALE, Ark., Jun 18, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Golf Entertainment, Inc. dba Sienna Broadcasting (OTC Bulletin Board: GECC) said seven defendants accused of interfering with interstate commerce have been named in a one-count complaint under provisions of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, filed in U.S. District Court in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The complaint, filed late Tuesday morning, named defendants in Coral Springs Florida, Richmond Hills, Georgia, as well as other "John Doe" defendants listed by a litany of aliases such as "sprintcar," "meridianprime," "chohenhous," "YaMoron," "LBJnAruba," "haybailout," "bowdrie," "dack130," and others.

The Company said its commercial interests have been injured through a systematic pattern of racketeering activity by the defendants. "We are aggressively pursuing information about other individuals yet unnamed," said Golf/Sienna CEO Dr. Tim Brooker, "who have participated in what the Complaint terms a very sophisticated "RICO Enterprise."

The Complaint also alleges other publicly traded companies have been similarly injured as the result of nearly 80,000 false or misleading electronic messages transmitted by the defendants over a two and one-half year period.

Brooker said the company is considering legal action against a major internet service provider which he says, "Has taken no action whatever against the perpetrators despite our very vocal and repeated complaints. They have, however, terminated the accounts of anyone identified as supportive of our company. I was appalled to learn that even this morning, they are still allowing one of these RICO defendants to continue to operate software that allows him to actually read a message posted on their stock chat board and then identify your internet service provider and gather other identifying information about you. This is very chilling indeed.

"We've been in contact with a small number of other companies that have been victimized by these internet predators. When you decline their offer to buy 'protection' from 'stock bashing,' they unleash a whirlwind on you," said Brooker.
