I guess the old saying "Buy on the rumor sell on the news" happened here. I think Genrad buyers over the past month are starting to look elsewhere. Considering that so many stocks are moving rapidly, it wouldn't suprise me that people would be moving their money to different stocks. Some investors over the long haul would do well, others who invested all their money in Genrad would pull out. Why? We recommended the stock at 17. 7 point gain. Most investors probably bought 1000 shares (on margin) so thats a $7000 profit. As other investors sell. Stop losses will kick in. My prediction: Genrad will test 21 before it tests 24. Genrad was up 3/4 before the news and then it went down. Not a good sign.
