What earnings report is the most important today.

Lets see: AMD--bad consumer business; Apple--same.
ORCL..better than expected and Oracle is directly linked to corporate IT spending.

Intel warning had already taken care of AMD/Apple when they did the mid quarter update. So the market anticipates weakness.

However, Oracle is a big surprise.

In this market, corporate IT spending the big issue not consumer sales in a seasonally weak period.
If the market views this as some fundamental change, we go higher tomorrow...still have to wait for Oracle guidance though.

(of course middle east issue also a factor...and book to bill..and JBL report and what it means for Cisco)

tomorrow is going to be VERY interesting; expecting a volatile day.
