He will definitely like hearing the story. There really isn't any excuse about spending a lot of time together. I haven't seen him in a good ten years. Before that we used to have lunch a couple of times a year. Now we email a couple of times a year, usually on birthdays so the coincidence is really pretty dramatic. I may have missed his birthday, I think, but that was two months ago so there was no particular reason for him to email me today.

Cue the music.
