RE AAPL
Here's a company with single digit overall market share. Strong in publishing industry; totally defrocked in educational markets. Publishers are in lockdown mode not spending money on anything so not much room for AAPL go boost sales.
Education market is just dwindleing legacy systems having been bested by lowest cost Wintel platform. Education shows no signs of helping any vendors right now since primary and secondary education school budgets which primarily funded on state and local level have no meaningful budgets for new computers as long as state budgets deficits continue to soar.
What is AAPL to do. Push the cuteness of the new systems to existing home users and try to convince new users to switch.

I can tell you existing users are not going to take to imac with the requirement to throw out existing peripherials and software out in the trash. There is no connectors on iMac systems that have similar functionality on previous macs. It means in short new printer, new scanner etc., etc.

If I see anymore commericals from anyone (IBM, Apple Cantor Fitzfgerald) dressed in blue demin shirts talking in down homey style, I am going to barf.
