Now, as to suing over your nails, is it short term or long term? Was the pain reasonably necessary to obtain the benefit? When I get my teeth cleaned I am in pain for several hours thereafter, but if I weren't the hygenist probably wouldn't have gotten all the placque out.

If the pain is transitory and the outcome is good, I wouldn't take your case on contingency. OTOH, if you want to send me a $25,000 retainer, let's go get em! <bg>
