There seem to be a lot of "what if" questions with Hammer, mostly from the process folks. Yes they are getting a lot of motherboard support, but that doesn't mean they will get OEM support, and if they get OEM support, that doesn't mean they will get end user demand.
That's a lot of ifs from a company that is shrinking rapidly, with no back up plan. I hate to say it, but Tim is right, if Intel wants to go for the kill, now looks like as good a time as any. Short term pain for stockholders, long term gain.
I also wonder what this says about Intel sales. It's only been 10 days since Intel's update, but I suppose things could have gotten worse.
