From the TMF board....a research report from Brean Murray. You need to register to access it but it only takes a second.

Adding strength to the quarter and the outlook is Cree’s share gains in the cell phone handset
market in white and blue LEDs for screen and keypad backlighting. We believe Cree is designed
into many of the more than 14 new models of handsets that have recently been introduced by
OEMs such as Sony (SNE-$54.56), Ericsson (ERICY-$1.84), Siemens, Motorola, Nokia (NOK-
$12.74), and Samsung. The white and blue LEDs replace yellow and green for greater clarity,
especially in data transmission with handsets. As a result of this transition, we think Cree is
seeing requests for expedited delivery in some of these parts.

If Cree really has been designed into all of those manufacturers handsets, their revenue from wireless is going to explode.
