Have you tried this yet?,

view>toolbars--lock the toolbars... uncheck the 'lock the toolbars' if checked, (address bar checked.)

Try rearranging the toolbar sections by right-clicking on a blank portion of the toolbar and moving the cursor(toolbar). The address block just might be hiding in there somewhere.

If all else fails you could try deleting explorer and then re-installing... Just a thought.
