Hello, Judy, Tom and Jim.

Yeah, the UNIX boys are moving. You got a good handle of
things as usual.

On the market, I didn't get to watch it realtime today.
I couldn't concentrate on anything last two days. Thought
I would post more on the team works we talked about.
A well respected collegue is dying from cancer ... tough to
take when the time finally came even though we saw it's
coming.

Anyhow, I am trying to recollect myself. Let me refocus
our ongoing discussion: how should the team work together?
As for posting styles, I will try give a short headline, but
I really don't care how people post as I learned to scan through
posts fairly quickly. Jim's suggestion, however, should
help people to follow the trades and understand different
trading styles.

For our purpose as mid-term trading, I don't see
it's crucial to scalp 1 or 2 points during intraday swings.
So I will take real-time or afterbell facts so as long
they are well reasoned.

>> [Judy] On market dynamics people watch for different things
depending on their trading styles. <<
Agreed. That's why I highly value TT's signals as a reflection
of how the markets think. Again, if we look for decent moves
we should have a clear macro view...or at least try to have
one. Tom, keep posting your views of the markets, signals
included, please.

>> [Judy] On technicals including mf ... I prefer the raw data rather
than any interpretation. <<
Same here. Maybe both of us do modeling stuff. We don't trust
other people's models:) Good point on MF. How about treating it
separately to see if it agrees other TA readings? If not, let's
watch more carefully. If a trade is proposed, one may take full
or partial postions depending on the trading styles.

>> [TT] It should be possible to identify a worthwhile trade--
and then it is up to the individual whether he/she wants to take
the trade. <<
I also see the similar things said in Judy's post. I think
what we are trying to do is to identify potentail trades with
a common objective and all possible resources. As for taking
the tradeor not, it's most definitely up to the individuals. I
proposed to have some discussion on the strateges so people
could pick what is comfortatble.

I feel enouraged from the inputs on this thread. Debating will
be there. It's perfectly OK as long as we all behave like good
sports. We need to start doing it and the only way is to
formalize the thinking process. That's why we need a captain.
Judy, it's a job to coordinate things and you are already
doing it with people's respect. Thanks.

Talk to you later.
