Hi Frank,

This morning NTIA disclosed the existence of another Navy chirping radar that scans 500MHz in 3.125 usec.

Makes it very hard to coexist in the 5GHz band, as the only frequencies it doesn't sweep are MSS feeder links.

UWB has infinite grief yet to come if/when power levels are raised to the point that it could possibly interfere with radiolocation services, however faint that possibility might be [think one radio per cubic foot in a metropolis of 5.25 million people].
