Sam, Optimism is a Four Letter Word

Nasdaq Futures are down for tomorrow with
the AMD warning, Oracle's professed lack of
visibility, etc. Also Israel's new policy
of taking land on the West Bank until the
bombings stop is not going to do anything
to add to international stability.

At BEST now, investing has become a zero sum
game, where instead of the tide lifting all boats,
one investor profits only at the expense of another
and money just rotates from one sector to another.
At worst, money will continue to flow out of equities
in general, and we all get poorer for it...and that's
not even counting all the fees and commissions the
'house' takes...(or the execs who demand to be fed
thru exercising their lavish options).

Sorry to be so bearish.
