Question for anyone with knowledge of wine trade or simply business:
I bought a case of Latour '90 at futures years ago:
it has appreciated a lot. now, a resteraunteur who is cooking the food for my wedding this weekend wants to swap food for wine. How can I value the wine. Clearly I cant simply use retail, as I couldnt get this price, even if he will get 150% to 200% of retail in his restaurant.
Thoughts anyone?
