I wonder what "industry wide" means in the following (thanks to Stan on AMAT thread):

Micron Technology Under Investigation by Government (Update1)
By Edvard Pettersson
quote.bloomberg.com.

Boise, Idaho, June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Micron Technology Inc., the world's second-biggest maker of dynamic random-access memory chips, said it is being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice for what the government says are anticompetitive practices among memory chipmakers.

The company received a grand jury subpoena from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California yesterday, the company said in a statement. Micron Technology doesn't believe it has violated antitrust laws and will cooperate with the investigation, the company said.

Boise, Idaho-based Micron Technology was informed that there's an industry-wide investigation, spokesman Sean Mahoney said. He declined to comment on which other companies are being investigated or what practices the government is looking into.

Shares of Micron Technology rose 30 cents to $23.60. They have fallen 38 percent in the past year. The news was released after the close of regular U.S. trading.
