Don't blame you for venting! Often, if you call them up, and rail on them and threaten them with leaving, they will drop the charge.
On the Amex topic, I plan to keep one of my Visa affinity cards, but use it much less. I have applied for, and should get, a no fee Costco Amex card. Don't know if you shop at Costco, but if you do, or are considering it, this card has a 2% rebate on all purchases, which comes back to you at years end, the rebate being for purchases at Costco. That's about the best deal on cash back credit card stuff I've seen. FYI. |
